What this site is
Service Tech Select publishes information and opinion about software and technology for service businesses. It is general information, not professional, legal, financial or accounting advice, and it is not a recommendation tailored to your business. Using the site creates no client or adviser relationship between you and us.
Verify before you buy
Software changes constantly. Prices, plans, limits and features on this site are recorded with the date we verified them, and they can be out of date by the time you read them. Our findings reflect the dates, plans, regions, accounts and test conditions stated on each page. Your setup, your plan, your region and your data will differ. Always confirm current pricing, terms and capabilities with the vendor, and test the workflows and the data export or migration that matter to you, before you buy anything or migrate your data. Product availability and the vendor’s own terms govern any purchase.
No warranty, and limits on our liability
The site is provided as is. We work to be accurate and we correct mistakes quickly, but we do not warrant that everything here is complete, current or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from a decision you made based on it, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us to use it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including consumer-protection rules where they apply. Your software purchase is a transaction between you and the vendor, not with us.
Links to other sites
We link to vendor sites and other sources. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their products, their terms or their privacy practices. A purchase or subscription you make is between you and the vendor, under the vendor’s terms and privacy policy, and outbound destinations can change. Service Tech Select is not any vendor’s agent. Where a link can earn us a commission it is labelled where it appears, as explained in our affiliate disclosure; an affiliate program’s tracking may involve the vendor or its network after you click, as described in our privacy policy.
Our content and yours
The site’s original text, graphics, selection, arrangement and presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we write about. The underlying facts are not claimed as exclusive property.
You are welcome to quote a passage or cite a finding with a clear link back to the page it came from, and nothing here limits fair dealing, fair use or any other right the law gives you. Ordinary search-engine crawling that respects our robots file, and the use of accessibility tools, are welcome. We may restrict access to the site where these Terms are breached.
